D.I.E(Detect.Investigate.Exterminate) Is a primary military corporation operating in Latia.
It's main focus is to Exterminate or at least Temporarily neutralize anomalies. It's rarely save Abnormalities from termination, most likely, to use them for Extermination.
D.I.E Originate from 2001, Year after Seed of Hope Event. It was made because of Event's after effect: Creation of Abnormalities(At least in Latia). Other reason for creation of D.I.E is also because normal armies wasn't trained to deal with anomalies, because of their diffrent properties. Originally D.I.E Is just Army Division trained for anomaly neutralization, but grew into own corporation, since, Cogito river is not something you can close and the problem with abnormalities can't be solved for good, at least right now.
D.I.E hold ~20% of Latia's army(to put it in prespective, total amouth of people is 1.3 Million, and army has 450k people in total). In D.I.E's disposal divisons like:IFA(In-field Agents),EXT(Exterminate,The main one),HDWM(Heavy-Duty War Machines), MOSE(Mechanized Offense-Support Extermination) and Specilized divisions that will be mentioned later.
In total. D.I.E Has 110 Training camps, 20 dedicated factories, 33 Laboratories and one HQ tower in capital city of Latia. Why would you need that information...? No clue either.
I.F.A(In-Field Agent)
I.F.A... The I.F.A, Disposable units of D.I.E. But Seriously, Their job to detect the Abnormalities and detail it, if it's worth calling EXT. Their Evacuation is the lowest priority in D.I.E (Expect drones, their evacuation is not considered). They also work in disguise in some places, it's usually is made to detect abnormalities while not causing panic of bystanders or infiltrate in gang that trying to profit from Abnormality or doing anything related to Abnormalities
They are armed with Knife or Baton and Side firearm, Like Glock-18, Berrete M9 or B934, with 1-2 mags spare. Has standart issue professional suit. Sometimes, if I.F.A Agent show himself more useful then meat shield and serve good, they are allowed to have and use armor plate and more stronger weapon like Benelli Nova, These I.F.A Agents called Veteran I.F.A Agent, they are eligible to rank up, to EXT... Since almost anyone can be I.F.A Agent, it's rare to see anything better then meatshield.
